Okains Bay School Big Day Out

Dear Parents/ Whanau,
On Thursday 11 September we are having our “BIG DAY OUT” and heading to Christchurch for a fun day. We will depart at 8:30 and should arrive back in Okains Bay around 4:00. All akonga need to be at school by 8:30 for a quick getaway.
Please complete the permission form below and return it to kura asap.
There is no cost for this trip. We will be (hopefully) using the Heartlands Van so no parent transport is required.
A tentative timeline is as follows: (This may change)
08:30 Depart school
10:00 Arrive at our first location -(morning tea)
12:15 Lunch in town
14:00 Depart for home
15:30 (approx) Arrive back at Okains Bay
Children can wear “mufti” on this day and need to bring the following:
* Morning tea and a few snacks (Lunches will be provided for you)
* A named water bottle
* Warm clothing
* swimming togs and towels
* If your child uses a booster seat or car seat can this please be dropped off on the day.
